Specialties

There are seven specialties or majors at Pui Ching Commercial College. Each specialty prepares the students for a career in the specific field.

Accounting Commercial English Industrial and Business Management
International Finance International Trade Marketing Secretary

Accounting
  The focus of this specialty is financial management and accounting administration in modern enterprises.
 

Students are required to:

    master the knowledge and skills of financial management and accounting;
know national financial policies, understand management of finance and accounting.
 

Before graduating, the students will be proficient in English speaking, writing, reading and listenning. They be able to use computers to handle finance and accounting.

Commercial English
  This specialty advances the foreign language ability of the student for use as employees of foreign and overseas business.
  Students are required to:
   

fully master English, speaking, writing, reading and listenning skills;
understand national foreign trade policies and laws;
know the procedures of international commerce;
master the theories and skills in economic management;
attain a working vocabulary of commercial English.

Industrial and Business Management
 
  Students are required to:
    master the theory and methods of the modern economy;
understand the domestic and international economic situation;
know the national economic policies and laws;
be able to administer the operations and sales of enterprises.
 

Before graduating, the students will be proficient in English speaking, writing, reading and listenning. They be able to use computers to handle enterprise administration.

International Finance
 
  Students are required to:
    master the theories, knowledge and skills of international finance;
understand the domestic and international economic situation;
know the national finance and foreign currency control policies;
be capable of handling international economic and financial transactions.
 

Before graduating, the students will be proficient in English speaking, writing, reading and listenning. They be able to use computers to handle financial affairs.

International Trade
  The main content of this specialty is import, exprot, overseas investment, and international cooperation.
  Students are required to:
    master the theory, knowledge and skills of foreign trade and international business administration;
understand the domestic and international economic situation, and foreign trade enterprises;
know the import and export business and national foreign trade policies.
 

Before graduating, the students will be proficient in English speaking, writing, reading and listenning. They will be able to use computers to handle foreign trade administration.

Marketing
  The focus of this specialty is marketing research and decision-making.
  Students are required to:
    master the theories of the socialist market economy;
master the knowldge and skills of market sales activities;
understand national economic and trade policies and laws;
be able to investigate, make decisions and react to changes and openning of new markets.
 

Before graduating, the students will be proficient in English speaking, writing, reading and listenning. They be able to use computers to handle research, distribution and sales.

  This specialty prepares students for a career in office administration.
  Students are required to:
    master the theories, knowledge and skills of administration;
become familiar with administration work;
master Chinese and English writing;
become proficient in the use of computers for office work.
