Location (map)

Huada is only three hours away from Hong Kong by bus via superhighways.

PCCC is in the town of Chini which is one of about 10 towns in the city of Huadu. Huadu is a suburb of the City of Guangzhou. Huadu is called a city in China but it would be called a county in U.S. Guangzhou is a metropolitan area like New York City but much smaller. It consists of many counties (like New York has many boroughs) and Huadu is one of them. Guangzhou is about 200 km north of Hong Kong. It is connected to Hong Kong by superhighways and railroad.

The center of Huadu is a town called Xinhua which is about 35 minutes by car from the city center of Guangzhou. The town of Chini is about 15 minutes by car from Xinhua. The highway connecting Xinhua and Guangzhou is mainly a toll road. The highway between Chini and Xinhua is a wide two-lane road.

Xinhua is a town with a population of over 50,000. Like most Chinese towns, Xinhua was built up only very recently. It had practically nothing in 1978 but now it has modern highrise buildings, including a four-star hotel, MacDonald's and Kentucky Fired Chickens. The town of Chini where PCCC is located, has a population of only a few thousand. It is nothing but a gathering place of the village people living nearby.
